birth support
The second someone tells me they are pregnant for the rest of my life, I will congratulate them, and then I will tell them they should hire Christine as their doula!
When I got pregnant I knew I wanted to hire a doula because I was hoping for a non-medicated birth. We met with 10 different women and Christine was a clear stand out from the beginning. We felt connected to her warm spirit right away but she also never hesitated with an answer for us no matter what question we threw at her. We felt that with Christine we would be extremely well taken care of and that she really had the experience to back up her business.
After we committed to working with Christine, I ended up with a small breech baby, so no chance for an ECV and a scheduled c-section at 39 weeks. I thought that I no longer would really need a doula, but was happy to have her with us as we had already committed to the contract and thought the extra help couldn't hurt. I was extremely wrong! When my c-section didn't go as smoothly as I would have hoped, having Christine in the operating room advocating for me was one of the only things that ended up saving the experience for me. Without going into too much detail, I can confidently say that if I were to re-do my babys birth, or if/when I have another child, I would change doctors and the hospital, but I would NOT change hiring Christine!
On top of the actual support during our birth, the support that Christine has given us after, has been immeasurable. The first few weeks after we got home, as new parents, we called or texted Christine at least once a day every day, and she was always there to calm us down on any concerns we had and answer any questions. She never made us feel silly for asking and always made us feel comfortable and supported, and we'll always look back and appreciate that!
I cannot say this enough, hire Christine!!! -

daytime + overnight postpartum support
"Christine was my postpartum doula and I can only describe her as heaven sent! She supported both me and my daughter from when my daughter was 5 days old to about 10 weeks. She was helpful for everything making sure I was eating, showering and resting, helping me breastfeed correctly, bottle feeding, watching my daughter so I could sleep, providing referrals to resources (therapists, etc.), and lending an ear to talk to in those lonely sleep-deprived weeks after giving birth. She’s very knowledgeable and was able to provide a number of resources when I needed them. This was my second child and I wish I had her for my first. I would recommend that everyone use a postpartum doula and I highly recommend Your Family Doula Services!" -

daytime + overnight postpartum support
“I truly couldn’t recommend Christine and Your Family Doula Services more- she is amazing and was an invaluable part of my postpartum experience.
My partner and I were lucky to work with Christine as a postpartum doula on both nights and days, and I don’t know what we would have done without her. She was incredible with our baby and allowed us to get maximum rest in the evenings when we needed it most, after a challenging labor and delivery. She is a wealth of information and taught us so much about baby care, breastfeeding, bottle feeding, and postpartum recovery. She helped me gain confidence as a first time Mom and supported me as I learned to trust my instincts. She answered HUNDREDS of our questions from an evidence-based perspective and offered anecdotal tips on everything under the sun when it made sense (like driving alone with your newborn for the first time, for example).
Christine is a pleasure to be around, so easy to talk to, a lovely person, and gives her all to her clients. We still text her with baby questions, months later! I wish I found her sooner and can’t wait to work with her again.”

“I love Christine! She’s so knowledgeable and helpful. Always busy and don’t know how she can take care of a newborn while cooking, baking lactation cookies for me, doing laundry and giving me advice while I feel like it’s all so daunting. I’ll definitely also use her for my birth plan and delivery next time. Thanks so much, Christine for making me feel sane.”

in-person birth support
“The most helpful part of having Christine was her tireless efforts to make me feel comfortable during the nighttime, after a several-day induction at that point.
I didn't have the easiest birth or postpartum. I had a 50-hour induction that suddenly became very urgent, and ended with a cesarean. My birth plan had more or less gone out the window. My son and myself had severe complications that arose over the course of my labor. In spite of all of this, I never felt scared when I had Christine by my side. She did everything possible to make me comfortable, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. She helped me make decisions without guiding me one way or another and I was respected. I would not repeat the experience without Christine! She is so kind, gentle, but realistic.
I would recommend Christine because she's knowledgeable, practical, nonjudgmental, and LGBT+ friendly. She never made me feel panicked, even when complications arose during my birth.”

overnight postpartum support
“Christine was a dream, she made our family function almost normally after our second child was born. Our first was born in COVID and we didn't have any postpartum support at home and this was an entirely different experience. She started working with us the second night home from the hospital and we'd initially planned for only 8-12 weeks of support and worked with her for over 16. Our LO loved his sleep, but would only sleep in certain positions and generally being held, she enabled my husband and I to get some sleep and still function to support our toddler, work and each other. I am so grateful she joined our family for this very emotional experience and helped us to support all of these major changes. She is also one of the loveliest humans I know, and her calming presence was greatly appreciated!”

birth, lactation & postpartum support
“Hiring a doula, specifically Christine, was the absolute best decision I made for me and my family (mentally, physically, emotionally). After coming up with a birth plan with Christine and countless hours of YouTube research, all my plans disappeared when I went into forced labor unexpectedly after a routine prenatal doctors appointment because my baby was not getting the nutrients she needed. But all the YouTube in the world and research does not compare to having individual and tailored support.
Having Christine there to guide me and my partner through all the twists and turns and decisions in the delivery room was so extremely vital. She broke down all my options, educated us both and presented everything in such a calming manner at such a stressful time. She is so knowledgeable.
She was and continues to be a valuable resource prenatal, during labor and postpartum. I highly recommend her services.”

“Christine was really great to work with! Her knowledge and experience were extremely helpful for providing information that made us feel more confident with our newborn and c-section recovery. She made us feel super comfortable and was able to guide us appropriately through our many questions we had. We appreciated her enthusiasm, knowledge, and dependability. We felt a great sense of relief on the days we knew she was scheduled. Looking forward to continued work with her in the future!”

birth & lactation support
“My husband and I chose Christine to be our doula for our second pregnancy, after not having one for our first. Though grateful for a healthy pregnancy and baby, my first delivery left me longing for something different. My delivery felt impersonal and left me feeling disconnected from my baby. This time around I was determined to avoid induction, if possible… I wanted to take a more natural route, and really feel.
This time, after another unplanned induction, I went into the delivery room with little expectation… but I left so. very. full.
Throughout my entire pregnancy, Christine was such an encouraging and knowledgeable support. She made herself available to answer all my questions, putting my worries to rest. Christine helped me establish and carry out a vision for my birth.
Her warm personality and deep understanding made it so easy to trust her, and ultimately, trust myself.
Christine helped me establish and carry out a vision for my daughter’s birth. Though an induction was not my hope, thanks to her, birthing my daughter was a far better experience than I could’ve hoped.
During the most challenging parts of my delivery, It was a relief to have her in my corner. She was ready to suggest alternative birthing positions that kept me comfortable, and continually encouraged me to trust my body. I had a joyful delivery that was even speedier than expected. (In fact, the doctor barely made it in time). Together, we welcomed my gorgeous girl, Eden- 7 lbs. 3 oz.
Now I feel incredibly proud and empowered and am beyond excited for our next baby, whenever he or she may come.”

virtual birth & postpartum planning
“I planned on filling out a birth plan that I found online and quickly realized I didn’t know what half of it meant! Having Christine guide me through building a personalized plan for me was a game changer! She asked about my preferences and explained in detail how each choice either supported or went against my overall plan. My wife was also able to ask questions she had in mind and feels so much better that we weren’t just googling endlessly!
I honestly didn’t know about postpartum planning until I saw one of their [Your Family Doula Services] Instagram posts and I’m so happy we booked it! It made us feel more at ease and prepared for what was to come. We did print out our birth plan to share with our providers and it came in handy on top of looking beautiful. Our postpartum plan is printed for us to reference (and we have referenced it already).
Thank you for all of your help in setting us up for success!!!”

virtual lactation support
“I am so grateful for Christine! She helped me immensely throughout my breastfeeding journey. I was ready to call it quits by the end of the third month, I'd tried everything! From eating oatmeal everyday, staying hydrated, lactation cookies, etc. and I did not see a difference in my milk supply (I was pumping about 2oz total in 20 mins.) They say everyone's journey is different, I'm a first time mom so that was something I kept reminding myself. But it was a bit discouraging seeing that I was not making enough to feed my baby, which was something I was determined to do!
Thankfully, I was introduced to Christine. Divine timing, I said. With just one phone call, Christine was able to guide me throughout my breastfeeding journey. Although we never met in person, Christine was so kind and understanding. She encouraged me in ways that I felt empowered to continue my journey. I am now entering month 6 and couldn't be happier to provide that liquid gold for my baby.
Christine is knowledgeable, supportive, and such a kind mama/doula. I couldn't be happier to have met her!”

“Christine was very supportive and thoughtful in a time when we needed it the most. We knew we would really need help at night so that we can get some extra sleep and feel refreshed for our other kids the next day. Christine did everything we asked for and more. Our baby really loved being with her. We highly recommend her to anyone who can use that extra hand when you bring your baby home and trust at the same time.”

I was a skeptic at first but frankly not sure what we would’ve done without Christine. A literal angel. She was such an amazing source of support before, during, and after the birth of our baby girl. I now tell every expecting momma about how important it is to have a doula like Christine on your birth team. I felt more confident & empowered to make decisions throughout my birth and I think every momma deserves that. With her support I was able to have the unmediated birth I planned on. If you’re on the fence just schedule a quick call - you’ll be glad you did! -
